What is processed and why
Contact details, appointments, intake and assessment information, clinical notes, and billing details. These are used to provide and document therapy, manage appointments and payments, and meet legal and healthcare obligations. Health information is processed under the GDPR provisions for healthcare, together with Dutch healthcare law.
Who processes it on my behalf
Client records are kept in Jane App, stored in London and encrypted. Payments are handled by Stripe. Email and calendar run on Google Workspace. The website is hosted by Framer, and contact form messages go to my email inbox. If you make a complaint, the necessary details are shared with Klachtenportaal Zorg.
Couples assessment
Couples doing the Gottman assessment receive separate information about the online questionnaire, which is processed in the United States, and about the recorded conversation. Both partners are asked for explicit consent before either takes place.
How long it is kept
Client records are kept for 20 years, as required by the WGBO. Enquiries from people who don't become clients are deleted within 6 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email info@justbetherapy.nl. You can also complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
